Slow fashion- clothes with an impact

Traditionally the fashion industry works in seasons of summer and winter. Clothes adapted to temperatures and styles. But since outsourcing and production on the other side of the planet got so easy, the system changed.

New pieces are in the stores every week. You buy and throw away to buy again and again. Fashion is a single use product. This is fast fashion.

What makes fast fashion bad is that firstly the work conditions to produce are not assured, secondly people are not fairly paid for it. You buy a piece for a lower price than your coffee, be sure it is made under unhuman conditions. You need to look out for sustainable and ethical brands to make the change away from fast fashion and towards slow fashion. Make a change if you want to! Buy better and less.
